These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of ATHLETICA: Student-Athlete AI (also referred to as "ATHLETICA" or the "app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you're under 18, a parent, guardian, or coach acting with appropriate authority should review these Terms with you before you use the app.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

ATHLETICA is designed for use by student athletes and their coaches, including users under 18. The app does not collect an email address or password — accounts are created anonymously and linked to a team via a team code provided by a coach.

You're responsible for keeping your team code confidential to the extent you're able, and for the accuracy of the information you enter (name, sport, position, goals, and similar profile details). Coaches are responsible for the team codes they generate and share, and for supervising how those codes are distributed to their athletes.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a team
• Post content on the recognition board, in coach notes, or elsewhere in the app that is abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate for a team environment that includes minors
• Attempt to access another user's account, another team's data, or any part of the app you're not authorized to use
• Use the app for any purpose other than personal athletic training, team management, and team communication

Coaches are responsible for maintaining an appropriate environment for their team, including addressing inappropriate use of the recognition board or film review features by athletes on their roster.

3. Health and Wellness Content — Not Medical Advice

ATHLETICA's Daily Pulse check-ins, readiness scores, Workout Intelligence meters, and Warm-up/Recovery/Nutrition task suggestions are intended as general training-support tools, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. They are not a substitute for guidance from a qualified athletic trainer, physician, or other healthcare provider.

If an athlete reports feeling sick, injured, or is otherwise concerned about their health, ATHLETICA's readiness scores and suggestions should not be relied on in place of appropriate medical evaluation. Coaches and guardians remain responsible for athlete safety decisions.

4. AI-Generated Content

The FRAME feature can generate "AI First-Look Notes" — short, automated observations based on a handful of still frames sampled from a submitted clip, generated using Anthropic's Claude models. These notes are:

• Not a substitute for a coach's own review of the full clip
• Based on limited, sampled visual information, not the complete video
• Provided as a starting point for discussion, not a definitive technical or performance assessment

Neither ATHLETICA nor Anthropic guarantees the accuracy of AI-generated notes.

5. User Content

Content you post — recognition posts and comments, coach notes, film clip submissions, and profile information — remains yours, but by posting it within a team you grant other members of that team (and ATHLETICA, for the purpose of operating the app) the ability to view, store, and display it as part of the app's normal functioning, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You're responsible for content you submit and agree it won't infringe on anyone else's rights or violate the Acceptable Use section above.

6. Data and Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes what information the app collects and how it's used and shared, including with Supabase (hosting) and Anthropic (for AI First-Look Notes on submitted clips). By using the app, you agree to that Privacy Policy.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings. See the Privacy Policy for details on what is removed and what may remain (such as anonymized team-feed posts).

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

ATHLETICA is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that readiness scores, task suggestions, or AI-generated notes will be accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ATHLETICA and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including any decisions made based on readiness scores, task suggestions, or AI-generated content.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated through the app where practical.
